Turnaround times
The quoted turnaround time is from sample receipt in the laboratory, to results authorisation in the Laboratory Information Management system. The times do not include transport of specimen to the laboratory or the administrative process to print and post/email reports. Service users must allow for transport and reporting time when ordering tests.

Request by consultant neurologists only

1 mL serum

Special requirements:
Sample must be sent to the laboratory within 1.5 hours of collection.
Sample stability:
Freeze sample
Transport requirements:
Sample sent on dry ice.

We are unable to release results to patients, patients should contact their healthcare provider for laboratory test results.
